Stainless
Steel Kitchen Furniture
A less obvious material for the furniture doors is Stainless Steel which
gives a futuristic look to a kitchen and, if combined with natural wood
and deep wall colours can still look like a home rather than a restaurant!

Backboards
Melamine and laminates are also ideal for backboards to protect walls
from splashes and heat. The wipe-clean surface offers a hygenic finish
which can match the kitchen worktops.
Glass Glass can be used as cupboard fronts (expecially good with illumination behind) or splashbacks. Toughened safety glass is less likely to shatter.

Man
Made Kitchen Furniture
There is
a wide range of man-made materials for kitchen furniture surfaces that offer bright,
hard-wearing finishes that are easy to maintain and look good. Choose
from melamine, metal, vinyl, laminate and foil wrap to give either smooth
or textured feels. Doors can be mixed with natural wood or granite kitchen worktops to give a contemporary feel.
